VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
Volunteers are the backbone of the
services offered by the PRCG. Our
volunteer opportunities are as varied as
the volunteers themselves.
These dedicated women and men have
completed extensive training and serve
in a variety of critical roles.
Volunteers, who have direct contact with
the clients, receive a minimum of nine
hours of classroom instruction and
complete approximately 16 hours of
in-house training. They are then
mentored by staff and experienced
volunteers as they learn to coordinate
client activities. These volunteers are
required to be involved in continuing
education as long as they serve at the
center.
Other volunteers, who work in supportive
roles, are trained based on their
assignments. Some of our volunteers use
their professional skills, but all use
their God-given gifts in ministering to
our clients. Opportunities include: |
Administrative
These volunteers work tirelessly to
accomplish the endless tasks of data
entry and management, clerical duties,
and help prepare mailings.
Church Mentors
These caring people receive special
training to help clients become part of
a church fellowship. They minister to
clients outside the walls of the center
through calls, cards and visits.
Church Liaisons
These volunteers represent the PRCG to
their congregation and act as a liaison
between the ministry of the PRCG and
their church. They inform church members
of upcoming events and make sure the
Center's needs are communicated.
Client Coordinators
These specially-trained volunteers
initially work with our clients and
their families as they make their
pregnancy decision. They also mentor our
clients throughout their pregnancies and
beyond, including unplanned pregnancy
situations, abstinence and post-abortion
syndrome.

Center’s fundraising efforts including
the Annual Banquet, Golf Challenge, Walk
for Life, and more. |

hands-on help with building maintenance
and special projects.
