"I Won't Until 'I Do'" is an educational program for Gwinnett students promoting the values of sexual abstinence until marriage. The PRCG provides speakers to the high schools and middle schools in Gwinnett County. We offer our speakers as a community service educational program of the PRCG. Our services are available to all students and school staff without discrimination. We do not charge for any of our services. We have been approved by the Gwinnett County [Georgia] Public School System to provide guest speakers in the classroom who will assist in informing students in the following areas: • Identifying risky sexual behaviors and examining specific sexually transmitted diseases • Effects of misusing sex to meet emotional needs • The risks involved with birth control methods other than abstinence • The problems and consequences associated with teen pregnancy • Fetal development • Decision-making skills that empower students to make positive life choices RESULTS Since the program began in 2002, IMPACT speakers have made presentations at 14 high schools and 9 middle schools impacting 35,228 students. • 2005: 12,695 students impacted • 2004: 10,825 students impacted • 2003: 9,180 students impacted • 2002: 2,500+ students impacted
